Established in 1995, the brainchild of an innovative concept, BNJ was created to provide an environment, where forward opportunities could be sought out, created, and attained with people who share a common interest and spirit.

Founded by Fletch Bennett (Chris's uncle) the shop sooned gained the reputation for having the coolest bikes, the most progressive and forward thinking staff, and, of course, the yummiest java!

In 2003, the newest Bikesenjava opened in Rockland, Maine.  Hayden's Bikesenjava was founded on the same principles as the original in Sarasota. That is, create a bike shop with a casual environment and a philosophy that customer service is still alive and well!  While BNJ has become the unofficial clubhouse for all cyclists, triathletes and adventure racers, we never forget the everyday cyclists who rides purely for the thrill and enjoyment...that is the one thing that binds us all together!

In 2007, Fletch's Bikesenjava in Sarasota joined up with Village Bikes to become Village Bikes & Java.  When in Florida, swing by and say hello to Tony, Jodi, Fletch and the crew.  When in Maine, be sure to stop by and say hello to the crew in Rockland!

We look forward to seeing you!
